PROJECT: The Cartlodge, Shudy Camps
CLIENT: Amherst Homes Ltd
TYPE: Residential Development
CONSULTANTS: Richard Money Associates; MTC Engineering; Skilled Ecology Consultancy; Trees in Planning; Landmark Planning
DATE: Jan 2016 – March 2017
The Cartlodge forms part of wider complex of agricultural conversion across a sensitive historic site. SISCO Architecture had been working alongside our clients, Amherst Homes for six months prior to the submission of an application for Planning Approval and Listed Building Consent, undertaking a holistic overview of the building across the site. The building was in poor state on commencement of the work and the project is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through patience and hard work, as a valueable historic asset has now been successfully preserved for future generations.
